    The consulting activities focus on assessing Autotech’s current operations, identifying key bottlenecks, evaluating the performance of each production stage, and developing practical improvement solutions aligned with the company’s operating model.

    The key areas of focus include:

    • Enhancing Production Performance: The project will review Autotech’s current production operations, identify areas that have not yet been fully optimized, and recommend appropriate improvement solutions. The objective is to reduce waiting time, minimize waste, and improve resource utilization at each stage of the production process.
    • Quality Enhancement: The quality control system will be assessed and further strengthened to enhance Autotech’s ability to identify, prevent, and address issues arising during production. Implementing quality controls at each stage will help reduce rework, minimize defects, and improve the consistency and reliability of finished products.
    • Optimizing Production Processes: Production and operational processes will be analyzed using a systematic, visual, and measurable approach. Inefficient activities, waste-generating stages, and production bottlenecks will be identified so that appropriate corrective and improvement measures can be developed.
    • Management System Development: In addition to technical improvements on the production floor, the project will support Autotech in strengthening its planning, progress monitoring, quality management, and cross-functional coordination practices. This will improve operational consistency and enable managers to make more accurate and timely decisions based on reliable production data.
    • Production Process Digitalization: Digitalization is one of the central components of the Smart Factory 2026 Project. By gradually shifting from manual tracking methods to centralized production data management, Autotech aims to improve its ability to monitor operations, trace information, and evaluate performance. Accurate, transparent, and timely data will also provide the foundation for the company to implement more advanced automation and smart management solutions in the future.
    • Standardization of Operating Procedures: Work instructions and operating procedures at each position and production stage will be reviewed and standardized. Through this process, Autotech aims to reduce dependence on individual experience, minimize inconsistencies in task execution, and improve the overall stability of its production system.

    Five Key Objectives of the Smart Factory 2026 Project

    At the Kick-off Ceremony, Autotech’s Board of Management and management team demonstrated a strong sense of unity and commitment to implementing the project in a serious, effective, and results-oriented manner.

    Image 7: Mr. Nguyen Cong Luu, Leader of Autotech’s Smart Factory 2026 Project Team, presents the project assessment findings.

    The company has identified five key objectives for the Smart Factory 2026 Project:

    1. Achieve Smart Factory Level 2.1

    This target reflects Autotech’s commitment to improving the level of standardization, digitalization, data connectivity, and production control across its manufacturing operations.

    It will also provide a foundation for the company to continue advancing toward higher smart factory maturity levels in the future.

    2. Achieve a 95% On-Time Delivery Compliance Rate

    Improving on-time delivery performance will enable Autotech to enhance service quality, strengthen customer confidence, and respond more effectively to project schedule requirements.

    Achieving this target requires consistent control across production planning, material supply, manufacturing, quality inspection, assembly, testing, and product delivery.

    3. Achieve an 85% Daily Production Plan Completion Rate

    Monitoring and controlling daily production plans enables the company to identify potential delays and operational issues at an early stage.

    The target of achieving an 85% daily plan completion rate will support greater operational discipline, stronger collaboration between departments, and more effective resource adjustment when necessary.

    4. Reduce the Process Rework Rate to 0.1%

    Reducing rework is an important indicator of production quality and process effectiveness.

    The target of maintaining process rework at 0.1% reflects Autotech’s commitment to process accuracy, standardized operations, and defect prevention at the source.

    It also supports the principle of completing each task correctly the first time, thereby reducing additional costs, production delays, and quality risks.

    5. Achieve a 90% On-Time Completion Rate for Machined Components

    For a company specializing in custom machinery and industrial automation systems, the timely completion of machined components has a direct impact on assembly, programming, testing, and final project delivery.

    Achieving a 90% on-time completion rate for machining activities will help reduce waiting time, prevent production interruptions, and improve the overall reliability of Autotech’s manufacturing schedule.

    Building a Stronger Foundation for Production and Management

    The Smart Factory 2026 Project is not simply a short-term improvement program. It represents a strategic foundation for Autotech to establish a more stable, transparent, efficient, and flexible production system.

    By standardizing processes, digitalizing operational data, and strengthening workforce capabilities, Autotech aims to generate long-term value through:

    • Improved productivity and resource utilization;
    • Stronger product quality control;
    • Reduced production waste and operating costs;
    • Greater compliance with production and delivery schedules;
    • Enhanced data-driven management capabilities;
    • Improved ability to meet international requirements and standards;
    • A stronger culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

    As a company specializing in the design and manufacture of customized automation machinery, improved control at every production stage will enable Autotech to strengthen technical quality, project delivery performance, and the overall customer experience.
